Hill Country Bible Church NW Journey Through the Wisdom Books

Frequently Asked Questions

FAQs

How do I get the most out of Join the Journey?

To get the most out of Join the Journey, you are encouraged to...

  • Read the assigned Bible passage for the day before you read the devotional. You can use your own Bible or open the link to an online Bible source, but don't skip over the reading and go straight to the devotional. The most important aspect of Join the Journey is daily time in the Word, so use the devotionals to supplement your reading, not to replace it.
  • Visit our website regularly to take advantage of the many tools and resources we will offer through our traveler comments, video podcasts, and small group discussion questions. Leave a comment on a particular passage, and have a chance to dialogue with others.
  • Talk about what you are reading and learning with your family, friends, and small group. You can also use the material for discussion in discipleship or mentoring relationships. Since we'll all be reading the same thing at the same time, we have a great opportunity to share what God is teaching us.

How can I sign up?

Click on the 'Sign Up' tab on the Join the Journey website. By signing up, you will receive the daily devotionals via e-mail.

Do I need to sign up again if I participated in the prior year?

No. You will continue to receive Join the Journey emails unless you unsubscribe from our list by clicking the link at the bottom of any daily email.

What does it cost for me to sign up?

Join The Journey is absolutely free!

What if I am not a member of the church?

You don't have to be a member of our church.  We would love for you to sign up and take advantage of this opportunity to learn more about God through the study of His Word!
